Summer Internship Placements

The purpose of summer internship is to equip students with practical industry experience. For most of the students who are fresher, the summer internship is the first industry interaction of their corporate career.

Summer internship is an integral part of our PGDM and MMS course. It is a credit subject which the students have to undergo for a period of 8 weeks (May – June). For the academic year 2013-14, we have achieved 100% summer internships.

During this period the students work on specific industry assigned projects, the scope of which is decided by the company. An academic guide from the faculty members at the institute is assigned to every student during the internship period. The academic guide, advises and monitors the student’s progress during the summer internship period. Regular feedback is sought from the reporting manager representing the organization.

Mahindra and Mahindra, Edelweiss, Bank of India, ICICI Securities, IIFL, Axis Bank, Amul, Bank of Baroda, Zee Entertainment, IPCA, S.K. Logistics, Horton International, Kokuyo Camlin, ONGC, TCS, Shriram Silk Mills, Bharti Airtel and so on.
