IGCSE CIE Programme

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”

– Benjamin Franklin

At MBIS, we offer the Cambridge International IGCSE (International Secondary Certificate for Secondary Education) Programme in secondary school. The IGCSE is the world%u2019s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. It is recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide, and is an international passport to progression and success.

The assessment process goes beyond just knowledge recall and emphasizes other skills like a student%u2019s ability to use and apply knowledge appropriately, to handle information and use it to solve problems, and to acquire experimental and investigative skills. It thereby helps students in developing creative thinking and problem solving skills and is the perfect springboard to advanced study.

Grades of achievement are benchmarked using eight internationally recognised grades, A* to G, which have clear guidelines to explain the standard of achievement for each grade.
